The following Church Covenant is taken from the IBC Constitution & Bylaws
- We, as members of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Beulah, North Dakota, having been led as we believe by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior; and, on the profession of our faith, having been baptized into the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, do now, in the presence of God, angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.
- We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this Church in knowledge of Christ and His word, in personal holiness, to comfort the afflicted, and promote its spiritual health and vitality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrines; to contribute or tithe cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the Church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel to all nations.
- We also engage to maintain a personal devotional life, biblically educate our children, seek the salvation of our family, friends and acquaintances, be zealous in our efforts to advance the Kingdom of our Savior, and walk with discernment as disciples.
- As disciples of Christ we will seek to live above reproach in the eyes of both believers and unbelievers; be devoted to our spouses (Gen. 2:24); be unselfish with our personal resources; be faithful in our dealings with others; be fair and impartial toward others; and walk in a manner that would reflect Jesus Christ.
- We will be faithful in our commitments, exemplary in our conduct, and live and talk as is becoming Christians, with Christ as our example.
- We will submit to one another out of reverence for Jesus Christ, care for one another in brotherly love, pray for each other, be devoted to one another, accept one another, serve one another, bear one another's burdens by giving aid in sickness or distress, be slow to take offense, and have a spirit of reconciliation toward one another.
- And if we leave this church we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church, where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's Word (Hebrews 10:23-25).
