This is the livestream of our Sunday morning worship service from 5/31/2026. In this sermon, we are in Esther 9-10, where the Jews are portrayed as defending themselves against attackers, and overcoming their adversaries, leading to a celebratory feast. This becomes the origins of the Feast of Purim, which Mordecai recorded, and which he and Esther sent letters explaining to all the Jews throughout the empire. Even though His name is not mentioned in the text, it is obvious that our sovereign God was at work in all of this, defending and delivering His people.
