In this sermon, we are in John 4:43-54, and here, we have the Lord Jesus healing the official’s son. This is the second miraculous sign performed by Jesus in Cana of Galilee. Signs are meant to point beyond themselves to something greater. The greater truth which stands behind this miraculous sign is that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Author of life and the Giver of life to those who will obediently trust Him.
