In this sermon, we are meditating on Hebrews 7:23-28. Here, we see that Jesus’ priesthood is living and permanent; thus, He can completely and definitively save His people. He is a sinless and perfect priest, who has offered the ultimate, once-for-all sacrifice of Himself for His people. In this, He has secured, for them, forgiveness forever. All that is necessary for eternal salvation, He has fully accomplished for those who belong to Him.
