(Esther 2:1-18) A New Bride at a Terrible Cost

This is the livestream of our Sunday morning worship service from 4/12/2026. In this sermon, we are in Esther 2:1-18. After Ahasuerus returns to Susa, he is ready to find a new queen. A plan is implemented, but his plan is selfish and destructive, causing untold suffering and shame. And yet, even in the midst of this wickedness, God was at work to bring about the deliverance of His people. He reigns over all things, even the poor and selfish decisions of pagan rulers, and over the plight of His own people (who sometimes struggle to know, let alone do, what is pleasing in His sight).
