(John 5:1-18) The Son of Man Works on the Sabbath: Healing the Invalid Man

This is the livestream of our Sunday morning worship service from 10/25/2026. In this sermon, we are looking at John 5:1-18, and the healing of the invalid man at the pool of Bethesda in Jerusalem. The Lord Jesus heals this man, and quickly runs afoul of the religious leaders because the healing occurred on the Sabbath. The Lord Jesus declares that His Father is working, and so must He. This infuriates the religious leaders all the more, since, in their minds, Jesus is not only breaking the Sabbath regulations, but He is also calling God His Father, thus making Himself equal with God.
